Being in my third year with Chick-Fil-A mom’s, I have been able to learn a lot about the companies values. You’ll have one more reason to love Chick-fil-A when you discover how they value recycling and upcycle.
Over the years they have turned cups in benches, bottles to team shirts, and even recycled glass Coca-Cola bottles to jewelry and chandeliers in their stores.
With this theme, Chick-Fil-A challenges us moms to our own Upcycling Challenge #chickfilamomsdiy
For this challenge, we had to take an empty CFA soup containers and do a DIY craft. We chose to do a Fairy Garden.
Once we cleaned and dried our bowl, I let DIVA have fun and complete this craft as it’s simple for any kid to do.
DIVA didn’t find any rocks she liked so went with wood chips and a small plant in the yard. She said it was easy materials that anyone can find and double the recycling.
Then we added a house and fairy from a previous fairy garden we had put together. While it was cute to start, the plant took over.
DIVA is excited to have her fairy garden again and one that will not grow as the previous one did. Much more simple which she’s okay with since she has a plant too.
What type of DIY projects do you like to do? Feel free to share in comments any photos are advice.
