JUSTICE LEAGUE: Battle for Metropolis Debuts

Villains beware for the Justice League is here and with some new help.  Who, you ask?  Why you!

Just in time for the 50th Anniversary, Six Flags Over Georgia has an all new 4D Virtual Ride Battle for Metropolis.  This ride is first of its kind with virtual loops, wind, fire, mist and fog effects, plus life-like animatronic characters.


First, you walk up to the Hall of Justice and the building in amazing.

Upon entering you are in a lobby Que that is filled with attention to detail.

You are briefed on the situation and how you can help.

The attention to details is amazing!

One you enter to the cars, you are greeted by a large screen taken over by Lex Luthor and The Joker.  The city is in trouble and you are now ready to help the Justice League say Metropolis.

Cyborg gives you some final instructions and you board your vehicle.

Riders enter a 6 passenger car that begins the ride or story come to life.  You are transported through twists and turns as you join Batman, Superman, and Cyborg who have to save the others from Joker and Lex Luthor.

You are armed with stun blasters and travel through laughing gas and flames in 10 high-intensity scenes, and even loop through the city on the mission.  This is also part of the gaming aspect of the journey for you are to use the blasters and shoot at the villains and Lex-bots.

The ride is completely smooth and the ride is very life like.  It is a full-sensory journey.

Six Flags Over Georgia is west of Atlanta on I-20 outside of I-285 (275 Riverside Parkway, Austell).

Open weekends through May 14; open daily May 20-Aug. 6; open most weekends the remainder of the year. Hours vary; check the website for details.
