A Christmas Carol Returns With New Magic As The Hanover Theatre Celebrates with 10th-Anniversary Production
Celebrate the holiday season with the 10 th Anniversary Production of A Christmas Carol at The Hanover Theatre for Performing Arts, December 15 – 23. Generously sponsored by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, this is New England’s largest production of the Charles Dickens classic.

Mighty Wurlitzer Organ, which has more than 2,400 pipes. New and returning cast members
tell the story of curmudgeonly miser Ebenezer Scrooge, who is visited by the ghosts of
Christmases Past, Present, and Future. This brilliant musical, set with timeless music, colorful
costumes and spectacular lighting and scenery, follows Scrooge as he discovers the true spirit of
the holiday season.
A sensory-friendly performance will be held December 17 at 11 a.m., this performance of “A Christmas Carol” is intended as a unique theatre experience for individuals and families impacted by autism. The sensory-friendly performance of “A Christmas Carol” takes place in a supportive and judgment-free environment. Additional accommodations of support will be provided, including a quiet area if individuals and families need a break from the performance. Trained staff and volunteers will be available to assist with patrons’ needs.
