Though some may bemoan the shoveling from the “Bomb Cyclone” blizzard that hit New England on Thursday, January 4, Ski New Hampshire’s member resorts are celebrating the storm. With snow totals reaching up to 17″ through the course of the storm, many of the Granite State’s ski areas are 100 percent open, or very close to it, heading into the weekend.

Though forecasts are calling for single digit temperatures again this weekend, it’s looking as though the deep freeze that has held many parts of the country last week will lift, ushering in more palatable winter temperatures, plus the likelihood of more snow next week. Current snow conditions and the potential for more snow on the horizon set New Hampshire’s ski areas up for a great long weekend on January 13-15.
