Basketball With The Harlem Globetrotters

Growing up my dad was always sharing his love of sports with us.  Baseball, soccer, hockey, football and basketball.  We played them all.  Dad was even the coach for a few of my brother’s teams.  What I remember most was basketball.

We had what we called the helicopter landing pad.  My dad had put up a net and painted the driveway as a mini-court in yellow and white.  The lines were the Foul line-3 point line range.  Horse was a popular game for us.

Due to playing so much I became good. In 6th grade, I received First Place at Field Day for free throws. But now, I can barely make a basket.  Basketball wasn’t something I loved or kept up with.  While I don’t play basketball, I do enjoy watching.  And the masters of ball handling are now touring.

Basketball Globetrotters 2017

The Harlem Globetrotters are doing a 2017 World Tour and this is right after setting nine Guinness World Records in one day! The Globetrotters will tip off their 2017 World Tour on Dec. 26 and will play in over 250 North American markets as well as 30 countries worldwide. Tickets are now available at harlemglobetrotters.com.

For those in the Atlanta area, you have 4 shows to choose from! Philips Arena on March 11th and Infinite Energy Arena on March 18th! There will be a 2PM and 7PM show at each venue.

This year’s show promises more incredible ball handling, trick shots, and side-splitting comedy than ever before. The Globetrotters’ arch rivals, the Washington Generals, are desperate for a win. Sources tell us they have a cunning new plan of attack and will stop at nothing to come out on top at the end of the game.

The Globetrotters love seeing smiling faces around the arena, smiles that remain way beyond the final buzzer. Your family’s happiness is the energy that powers the team, so Globetrotter stars stay on the court for autographs, photographs and high fives with our fans after the game.

The Globetrotters can’t wait to share our all-new show with you and create a new favorite family memory that will last forever.
