Miracle Treat Day Results
Each year, Miracle Treat Day is “one of the largest single-day fundraising events” for the charity. In 2018, DQ operators “contributed more than $4 million to local CMN Hospitals.” That staggering amount definitely makes a difference in both children’s and families’ lives. For example, Hurley Children’s Hospital in Flint, Michigan. Contributions from DQ Fans and franchisees provided allowed them to purchase DVD players and movies for children’s rooms. This funding also helped buy a Vecta® multi-sensory machine that lets kids calm and comfort themselves. The Vecta provides music, a bubble tower, lights and many other features sick or injured kids can use during stressful moments. This specialized tool is especially valuable when administering care to children with special needs.
