The Autism Diva was hosted in a private tasting event for the opening of Yardhouse. All opinions are my own.
The Battery Atlanta & Yardhouse
Atlanta is a hot spot of activity and things to do. Shows, venues, festivals, parks, shopping, sports, family-friendly and kid free. The choices really do appear to be endless. And now, we have another option with all new The Battery Atlanta.
The Battery Atlanta is the all new multi-purpose entertainment destination. Just miles from Downtown, The Battery Atlanta is the South’s preeminent lifestyle destination. Anchored by SunTrust Park, the new home of the Atlanta Braves.
The Battery Atlanta offers an unprecedented entertainment experience 365 days a year, not just on game days. The 1.5-million-square-foot mixed-use destination features some of Atlanta’s most acclaimed chefs and a diverse blend of culinary options to please foodies and families alike. In addition, visitors can sip cocktails from some of the area’s preeminent mixologists, shop for the hottest new styles at unique retailers, bowl a few games or ride a mechanical bull. The Battery Atlanta is also home to the Coca-Cola Roxy Theatre where music lovers will find a 4,000-seat venue for all genres of live music.
The kids and I got to explore some of The Battery Atlanta after watching a game at the new Suntrust Park. While not complete, the number of restaurants, stores, and even the Roxy will keep you more than busy.
One restaurant we did get to experience was The Yardhouse.
A CROSSROADS OF FOOD, BREWS & TUNES.
When the craft beer revolution began nearly 20 years ago, Yard House was there pioneering the way. Taking our vast experience with brews and breweries, coupling it with a kitchen that prepares over 100 items made from scratch daily, and serving it all up in a welcoming space with an energetic vibe, Yard House has become a modern public house where food and beer lovers unite.
This was our first visit and we were not disappointed. Being known for the craft beer selection I knew that I had to sample one of the house ale’s, Honey Blonde. Light and crisp are how I would describe it.
The menu selection is not only vast but descriptive and guaranteed to get your mouth watering. With high-end flavorful ingredients, you can’t make a bad choice.
The atmosphere is fun and energetic and the staff was more than happy to assist with any need. I especially enjoyed the outdoor seating as here in Georgia we have some great weather to enjoy.
Yard House features a menu of 100+ American-style dishes made from scratch daily, an extensive craft cocktail menu and the world’s largest selection of draft beer with 130 different taps. There’s something for everyone to enjoy for lunch, dinner or happy hour. The restaurant is located at 825 Battery Ave, off of I-285 and Cobb Pkwy. Visit Yard House today to experience happy hour, Late Night Happy Hour, our monthly rotating Chalkboard Beer Series and amazing American-inspired dishes.
